Your stay in Bangalore is not complete without a taste of the traditional South Indian meal. Have a sumptuous lunch (12.00 noon - 3.30 PM) or bring your family and dine with us (7.00PM - 10.30 PM) at Annapoorna Everything is served piping hot on plantain leaves, and our people are trained to refill your leaf as fast as you can empty it.
Kamat Akshay
Akshay is a self service stand and eat restaurant. The food is excellent, but aimed at the budget class and you can walk in there anytime from 6 A.M till 12 mid night. Walk in, bolt down the food, dash out for your meeting!!
All flavours...... Softy ice creams with seasonal fresh fruits. Jackfruit, watermelon, mango, sithaphal, chikkoo, strawberry, litchi, honey, kesar etc. And many other flavours….the juices are crushed only after you select them.
So you can feel how fresh they are... SWEETS.....
Jowar Bhakri
Most of us would never have heard of this special meal, made from the nourishing Jowar. But Bhakri is a specialty ethnic to the regions of North Karnataka, southern Maharashtra, and western Andhra Pradesh. Our rooftop restaurant is right next to the Bhakri making kitchen. It is an experience to watch these chefs who are skilled in the fine art of rolling out these rotis. Jowar rotis are light and yet very filling; soft and rich in fibre; and d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s! Served with a traditional aubergine, or baingan dish, the Jowar Bhakri has become Kamat's most popular meal, in the city.
