Interactive Television State of the art television systems are installed in every room. These interactive televisions allow you the facility of checking your room bills, placing room service orders, and checking your messages. The interactive television also allows our guest the convenience of checking-out from the comfort of his room as part of the express check-out facility offered by The Orchid.

Express Check out, Free Cable T.V, Business Lounge and Room Internet Service are the other services being offered by the Orchid hotel. The Room Internet Service, provided by Worldroom Connect allows the business travelers using a LAN-equipped laptop computer to simply plug in to I-Quest's network at The Orchid and start working. There is no dial-up access required and no reconfiguration of the laptop computer.

We make every effort to ensure that our guests enjoy a healthy and comfortable stay. To this end, we use imported anti-allergy and odour-free Carpets.

In keeping with our Environmental commitment, every room is a 'green room'. We have brought down the use of wood, paper and plastic to a bare minimum.

• In house paper and plastic shopping bags have been replaced by cloth bags.
• Newspapers and laundry are delivered in cane baskets.
• All closet hangers are made from pressed particleboards while the pens and pencils are made out of recycled cardboard, reprocessed plastic and scrap wood.
• All stationary is either handmade or made from recycled paper.
• Guests are provided with handcrafted, rubber-soled reed slippers for use in the room.
• Use of cut flowers has been totally eliminated from guest rooms and replaced with healthy potted plants.
• Each room has a 'recycle bin' in addition to the waste bin, so that involved guests can deposit recyclable material for reuse.
